David A. Baric, Esquire

A practicing attorney in all areas of real estate transactions, corporate / business formation, creditor representation, general commercial law, representation of creditors in bankruptcy matters, trademarks, copyrights, landlord/tenant cases, trust and estate matters and civil litigation in Carlisle and surrounding areas since 1985.

Professional Activities

A graduate of Dickinson Law School in 1985. Member of the Pennsylvania State Bar Association and Cumberland County Bar Association. Formerly Division Counsel for Carlisle Syntec Systems, a Division of Carlisle Corporation. Admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

 

 

 

 

Michael A. Scherer, Esquire

Michael A. Scherer has represented individuals, business entities and municipal governments for over 25 years. His diverse practice includes representing clients in family law matters, personal injury, estate planning and administration, real estate and general civil litigation. He also represents businesses in the formation of commercial entities, commercial litigation and land use and acquisition. He has successfully closed large, commercial transactions as a title agent for Commonwealth Land Title. He also has extensive experience representing municipal governments, including Borough Councils, Boards of Supervisors, Planning Commissions and Zoning Hearing Boards. His litigation experience includes numerous jury and non-jury trials in both the criminal and civil realms. He has successfully resolved million dollar personal injury litigation.

Professional Activities

Mr. Scherer served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kevin A. Hess prior to graduating from law school. Thereafter, he served as conflict counsel for criminal cases and as an Assistant District Attorney in Cumberland County. He was a former mock trial coach at Cumberland Valley High School.

He was the 2009 winner of the Cumberland County Bar Association Pro Bono Award and was recognized in 2005 as the Co-Chair of the Cumberland County Bar Association Partner’s Program.

He is the past president of the Carlisle Family YMCA, St. Patrick Church Counsel, Todd Baird Lindsay Foundation, and former vice-chair of the Minor Judiciary Education Board.

Mr. Scherer lives in Boiling Springs with his wife and two children.

 

Tricia D. Naylor, Esquire

A general practice attorney including simple and complex estate planning, estate and trust administration, tax matters, real estate transactions, commercial and residential landlord/tenant issues, commercial contracts, corporate/business formations and civil litigation. The solicitor for the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cumberland and the Housing Authority of the County of Cumberland since 2010.

Professional Activities

A 1995 graduate of Dickinson College and 1999 graduate of Widener University School of Law. Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. A member of the Pennsylvania and Cumberland County Bar Associations. Serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Cumberland County Bar Association. Personal interests include running, skiing and horseback riding.
